Life story

Relationship to me:- Father Joseph followed in the family footsteps and worked as a farm hand on a Cobar sheep grazing property 'Hampton' until his marriage to Frieda when he took a lease on another local grazing property 'Wyoming'. Together, they worked this property until around 1948 when they moved the family to Sydney with the hope of a better life for their children. After residing in various suburbs, the last being Dundas in Sydneys west he and Frieda retired to Blackheath in the New South Wales Blue Mountains and remained there until his passing. All the children were born in Cobar beginning with: Philip Joseph in 1938 then Christine Ida in 1940 continuing with Josephine Elizabeth in 1942 and finally Richard Jeremiah (Me) in 1945
